Where We Produce
We have been producing products for our clients for over 20 years. This has given us a great network of manufacturers all over the world. Our global factory base makes it easy for us to create beautiful and functional living spaces.
We have a strong and diversified manufacturer base in Europe as well as in Far East. Our manufacturers are closely selected and tested before initiating cooperation. Once we have started, we also see them as our partners. It is important that our manufacturers follow our CSR values and can cover our customers’ needs. Building good relationships with our manufacturers is vital and over the years, we have developed a solid cooperation with many factories.
The best way to meet our customers’ needs, is to know our manufacturers in depth and their capabilities. Our proximity to customers through our head office and proximity to manufacturers through our local offices gives us huge advantages on this issue.

CSR
We recognize the influence we have as a global supply chain partner on the world. There we take our responsibility towards our future very serious. We strive to contribute to the development of best socially and environmentally responsible practices and conditions. We understand that this is a continuous effort that does not yield immediate results. Hence, we are committed to perpetually enhancing our practices.
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of our daily business, and we believe that it is an important part to ensure a strong home industry. We approach CSR through close work with our suppliers and constantly strive to improve our work in this area.
It is important to us that our products are the result of an ethical and safe supply chain. To achieve this, we require that our new manufacturers follow the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) or Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (Sedex) code of conduct. Most of our long-standing suppliers are now BSCI certified, and all major new suppliers must be BCSI or Sedex certified to work with us. We also comply with the United Nations Global Compact; an initiative that sets out ten principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.
Before we work with a new factory, we visit them to check that they meet all our requirements before we start up a trial production. We also do regular inspections through independent auditing companies.
The majority of our textiles are made from pure and natural materials such as cotton, linen, wool and silk. Uni-Tex is both GOTS and FSC certified company and prioritize using sustainable materials in our productions. Our textiles have as a minimum Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate.
